The members of GUM Collective were invited by the National Gallery of Ireland as part of the education and public programme to react and respond to the Emil Nodle: Colour is Life exhibition.
For the month of April 2018, GUM were based in the Millennium Wing Studio. Working as Artists-in-Residence. They investigated the life and work of Emil Nolde, both through their individual art practices and via an evolving programme of education and public engagement activities. The residency culminated in a display of work produced by the artists of GUM collective which was on display in the gallery through May 2018.
